SNAP Education School
On Friday afternoon, the 30th August 2013, a team from the company Propell in Durbanville congregated at SNAP Education to help with some maintenance work.
What a great afternoon we shared together!
The rain subsided for long enough to give the team, working in the garden, sufficient time to create a veggie patch out of tyres .
The rest of the group got to work with cleaning the educational toys and apparatus in 17 tutor rooms and two larger classrooms and completed all of it in just 3-hours.
In this time frame it was also possible to paint three of the tutor rooms in a lovely, calming blue colour … stunning!
SNAP (Special Needs Adapted Program) is a unique, child specific, one-on-one, integrated programme for children with Autism and other special needs.
Approximately 100 children attend this centre and because this program’s primary focus is on the development of the children it is a huge blessing to the management and staff to have extra hands available to help in other much needed areas.
SNAP is a well-managed centre and is doing phenomenal work with the children. It was a privilege for Newkidz on the Block to partner with Propell to help them.
