Scarf Knitting Project Completed

GSK Pharmaceuticals rallied volunteers who knitted 200 navy blue scarves for a worthy beneficiary. In addition to this, their central Corporate Social Responsibility office contributed over 100 scarves which allowed them to meet their target of 280 hand knitted scarves for the children who attend The Ark City of Refuge school, located in Old National Road, Faura.

GSK Pharmaceuticals approached Newkidz on the Block to help find a suitable beneficiary and because of our good relationship with The Ark, it was our privilege to recommend them.

The wind was freezing cold today when we handed over a new navy knitted scarf to each child and they were most grateful for the gift to protect them from the bitter wind that was blowing.
